Situated in Albufeira, right across the São Rafael Beach, the resort has dazzling views overlooking the ocean.There is also a complimentary shuttle service to Morgado, Alamos and Salgados golf courses from the resort, as well.
Sao Rafael Suite Hotel is located in Sesmarias (45-minutes West of Faro Airport), and very close to the town of Albufeira.

Morgado Golf Course and Álamos Golf Course are located near the Monchique Mountains just 4 kilometres from Portimão. They surrounded by stunning nature.Salgados Golf Course, which is situated next to Salgados Beach, enjoys the sea breeze and a setting of environmental richness. It is next door to one of Europe's unique nature reserves, which has a lake. This course, just 10 minutes from the centre of Albufeira, has 18 holes. Each NAU course has a clubhouse that will meet your practical and add more bliss to your holiday. With changing rooms, a golf shop and reception, you will find everything you need for your round and a bar-restaurant that serves as a meeting point.

 

Restaurant & Bars


The Buffet Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a cosy atmosphere. The A’la Carte Restaurant, offering a more intimate dining experience, serves regional and international flavours in a calm ambience decorated with soft earth tones. Surrounded by traditional species of trees of the region, such as citrus and olive trees, at Morgado the player is immersed in a calm and serene Algarve, meeting the inner soul of this region that has so much to offer.

 

Located in a valley in the inland Algarve, between Portimão and Monchique, the Morgado Golf Course is challenging both to amateurs who are just starting out in the game and to highly-experienced golfers seeking to put their technique to the test. 

 

With 18 holes, this is a more open and easier course, with the features of a links course - with flat fairways and bunkers of Scottish inspiration – but, instead of being along the seaside as the traditional links, it's placed inside parkland.

 

This is a par 73 course but its length is attenuated by the generous width of the fairways. However, you may be penalised if your less successful strokes happen to land in one of the bunkers scattered around the course.

Despite its relatively short length, Alamos Golf Course is a challenging test for any golfer.
 
 
Affording splendid views over the Monchique mountains, lakes and farmland, the sensation here is one of being far from everything. This is a shorter course than Morgado Golf Course (Par 71), but it has all the necessary features to meet the expectations of the most demanding golfer. Rather than simply a test of your golfing skills, this course clearly demonstrates that man and nature can come together in harmony.

The Salgados Golf Course is located near Albufeira, within a protected, Natural Wildlife Reserve.

This setting provides golfers with a unique experience, since the course gives shelter, water and food to a number of bird species, some of them nearly extinct. The beach is within walking distance and the sea view from the course adds to this scenic golfing experience.


For beginners, the yellow tees provide an enjoyable game. For a more challenging game, the white tees make the most out for golfers with single number handicap.

Here, almost all the holes are flanked by lagoons and one (number 6) is considered one of the most difficult of the world, as it has a lot of water and is very long.

Holes 7, 8 and 15 are among the loveliest of the course (and region!).

For golf enthusiasts, playing in the yellow tees is a delightful experience.
